Municipal Election: 28 candidates are on the campaign trail for 10 Peterborough ward seats

And with that, the ballot is set.

Five candidates are running for the two Otonabee Ward seats this year: Kevin Duguay, Joe Laton-Trickett, Lesley Parnell, Chris Potter, and me.

I’m glad Otonabee residents have a competitive race with several different candidates to hear from. Over the next couple of months, my job is pretty straightforward: knock on a lot of doors, listen to people, explain what I think City Hall could be doing better, and earn their votes.

There will be plenty of time for campaign promises and policy announcements. For now, I’m looking forward to the conversations.
