It’s official: my nomination has been certified, and my name will be on the ballot in Otonabee Ward.
Filing the paperwork is, admittedly, the least interesting part of running for office. Now comes the part that actually matters.
Between now and election day, I want to meet as many Otonabee residents as I reasonably can, hear what they’re experiencing in different parts of the ward, and make sure the platform I put forward responds to the things City Hall can actually do something about.
If you see me wandering your neighbourhood with a clipboard over the next few weeks, there’s a pretty good chance that’s why.
